E-commerce & ordering systems.
I develop online shopping and ordering systems for retailers, restaurants and product businesses. I connect the customer journey, from browsing to checkout, with the staff tools and integrations needed to manage products, receive orders and organise fulfilment.
Plan your ordering systemWhat happens after the customer clicks order?
Customers need clear product information and a checkout they can complete. Staff need to know what was ordered, whether payment succeeded and what happens next. I map both sides of that process before building the storefront and management tools.
Storefront and ordering functionality
- 01
Product catalogues and digital menus
Organise products, variants or dishes with descriptions, images, prices and availability information that customers can use on mobile.
- 02
Cart and checkout development
Build the steps for choosing items, checking order details and completing the customer information needed for fulfilment.
- 03
Pickup, delivery and branch workflows
Support the collection or delivery process your business offers, including branch selection, service areas and order instructions where required.
- 04
Payment-provider integration
Connect a suitable provider, handle payment results and account for unsuccessful or interrupted checkout attempts.
- 05
Order and product administration
Give staff tools to update items, review incoming orders and manage the statuses used by the business.
- 06
Connected systems and customer updates
Integrate supported business APIs and send relevant order information to customers and staff through the agreed channels.
A storefront is only part of the system.
Before choosing a build, I look at how prices, availability, payments and fulfilment are managed today. An existing commerce platform may suit the business; custom development is useful when a particular ordering journey or operational integration needs more control.
Follow an order from start to finish.
I map a representative order with you, including unavailable items, failed payments and staff handoffs. I then design the customer screens, develop the agreed backend and integrations, and test the complete order flow before release.
The storefront can use React and TypeScript with a backend and database selected for the project. Payment and operational integrations depend on the provider’s supported countries, business types and API capabilities. Those requirements are checked before confirming the integration.
What affects development cost?
Products, variants, branches, languages, delivery rules, payment methods and existing system connections affect cost. A custom administration interface adds its own scope. Share what you sell, where orders come from and how staff fulfil them so I can plan the full process.

Have a question about your requirements?
Discuss your requirementsCan you develop online ordering for a restaurant?
Yes. I can build menu browsing, order selection, checkout and the staff interface for handling orders. Pickup, delivery, branches and payment integration are planned around the restaurant’s actual operating process rather than assumed to work the same way for every business.
Which payment gateway can I use?
That depends on your business, country, currencies and the provider’s onboarding requirements. I assess supported APIs, payment methods and how results are confirmed before recommending an integration. Gateway fees and merchant approval are separate from development.
Can an ordering system connect to my existing tools?
Yes, where those tools expose a suitable API or supported data-exchange method. I review the documentation, access requirements and update behaviour before confirming what can be connected, including how the system should respond when an external service is unavailable.
