Full-stack development / React / Supabase

Web application development.

I build web applications that let customers and staff do more than browse information. That can mean booking a service, managing an account, updating a catalogue or running an internal dashboard. I develop the frontend, database connections, authentication and backend logic as one application.

WHO THIS SERVICE IS FOR

Give users something they can actually do.

For businesses adding an online service, teams building a customer or staff portal, and founders developing a database-driven product. The application can support public users, internal staff or both, with different permissions for each.

The business requirement

Connect the screen to the business process.

A customer portal needs to know who is signed in, which records they can access and what should happen when they submit a request. I design those rules alongside the interface, so a polished screen is supported by working data, permissions and application logic.

Applications and features I can develop

  1. 01

    Customer portals and account-based products

Let customers view their information, submit requests, manage bookings or follow the status of work through a signed-in interface.

  2. 02

    Admin panels and staff dashboards

Give staff tools to manage records, review submissions, update products and see the information needed for their role.

  3. 03

    Booking, ordering and SaaS applications

Develop the screens, data and rules behind a service-booking platform, ordering product or subscription-based software application.

  4. 04

    Authentication and access permissions

Sign-in, account management and record-level access rules that separate what customers, staff and administrators can see or change.

  5. 05

    Databases, documents and API connections

Store structured information, handle uploaded files and connect the application to services your business already uses.

  6. 06

    Testing, deployment and administration

Test complete user journeys and permission boundaries, deploy the application and document the agreed maintenance responsibilities.

Start with a complete first release.

A useful first release lets a user finish one important job, from signing in to receiving a result. I help separate essential features from later additions so the first version is testable and ready for real use.

Design, development and release

Build the interface and the logic together.

I map the user roles, records and main actions before designing the screens. Development then covers the interface, database structure, server-side rules and integrations. I review progress with you through working features and test unsuccessful submissions, access restrictions and other cases users will encounter.

I work with React and TypeScript for interfaces, and Supabase, PostgreSQL, APIs and server-side logic for connected application features. Database permissions belong in the backend; hiding a button in the frontend is not an access-control system.

What affects development cost?

User roles, data relationships, permission rules, file handling, API integrations and migration determine much of the effort. Real-time updates, subscriptions and complex reporting add their own requirements. Bring a description of who will use the application and the main job each person needs to complete.

What is the difference between a website and a web application?

A website primarily presents information. A web application lets people perform actions against stored data, such as managing an account, booking a service or updating a product. A project can include both a public website and a private application, with shared information between them.

Can you connect a mobile app to the same backend?

Yes. A web application and a mobile app can use shared APIs and data where the architecture supports it. I define the account model, permissions and responsibilities of each interface so changes remain consistent across the products.

Can you build on an existing database or API?

Yes, after reviewing the available access, documentation and data structure. I check how authentication works, which operations are supported and what happens when the external service fails. That review helps establish whether to extend the current system or introduce a separate backend.

Tell me who will use it, what it should do and which systems it needs to connect with. I’ll help define the development scope.
